as an Iranian who has resided in various parts of the world, i am curious about the nuances of sacred spaces in the shifting cultures around me. my work engages the audience in exploring spiritual truths, human behavior, healing, and relationships to the sublime. viewers are greeted into spaces curated to create pause and room for celebration in an honest struggle with truth.

i utilize light through Persian architectural structures, sounds, and patterns that evoke paradise & otherly. through the use of elements from nature, i explore the personification of human fragility in the contrasting positions between the body and the physical world.
